We however couldn't get support from the Forest Department, but none the less did a remarkable job in creating Green Belts in our neighborhood.
I have read an article in today's TOI re increased planting targets and shortage of space. We can plant 2000++ trees in our catchment area
if your support towards citizens / residents initiative is forth coming.

For your information, w
e managed to plant 1500 trees last season in cooperation with MCD
and other residents of the colony.
